Lilybird, Lily, or Nana Lily are the affectionate names we call my mother who lived with us for 3 years. Living in the moment is a reflection of our family’s decision to focus on the humorous aspects of our journey through Alzheimer’s disease. This blog is inspired by her courage, stubbornness, and humor living with this relentless disease. I hope you enjoy my posts and may my posts encourage you to look through the clouds for a ray of sunshine.
Its lovely! Its very lovely. I don't think this is something you should worry about. Although you will, because, well you know the reasons why. But you should let yourself sleep good over the changes.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see Ms. Lily in her chair - she looks good Kerry! What is around her ankle?
ReplyDeleteThe Lily Pad is beautiful and she looks comfortable. Hang in there! You're in our prayers. Cindy
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and Lily as she adjusts to her new home which is lovely!

That band around her ankle is a monitor which will alarm if she leaves the unit. Since Lily looks so "normal" they are worried someone might let her out thinking she is a visitor!
