While giving mom her pills this morning I realized in all the bustle of Thanksgiving yesterday I had forgotten to give mom her evening pills.
"Oops, I forgot to give you your pills last night."
"That's ok, Look...... I'm alive.............. still the same."
Lilybird, Lily, or Nana Lily are the affectionate names we call my mother who lived with us for 3 years. Living in the moment is a reflection of our family’s decision to focus on the humorous aspects of our journey through Alzheimer’s disease. This blog is inspired by her courage, stubbornness, and humor living with this relentless disease.
