dentures

"Mom, time to take your dentures out."

"Why do you want me to take those out every night?  I don't think I will bite my own teeth!"

    My mother has stroke induced dementia,
    She recently came to me and said she had looked at the clock in her room and it said "10:30". So she checked her calendar which said "October."
    Mom said she didn't know which one to believe, so she walked into the
    kitchen to check my clock, which said 10:30. She was completely satisfied. Apparently her question was answered.
